Here's what we were working with - a bare dirt area around a new metal shop building with no real surface to speak of. Loose soil, uneven ground, and nothing holding it together. That's where the work starts.

Before a single load of millings hit the ground, we got in there with the Kubota SVL75-2 and graded everything out properly. That step matters more than most people realize. If the base isn't right, nothing you put on top of it is going to hold. We made sure the grade was dialed in and the surface was firm and even before moving forward.

Then came the asphalt millings. This is a material we use a lot, and for good reason. It's durable, it compacts tight, and it handles vehicle traffic without breaking down the way gravel can. Once it's roll-compacted, it binds together and creates a solid surface that stays put. The driveway run leading to the shop and the apron right in front of those roll-up doors both got the full treatment.

What you end up with is a clean, functional surface that works hard every single day. No more mud tracking in after rain. No soft spots where vehicles sink in. Just a dependable surface that looks sharp and holds up - around the shop and all the way down the drive.

This kind of work - grading, site prep, and a quality driveway install - is exactly what we do. Whether you've got a new shop going up or an existing drive that's seen better days, getting the prep right from the start is what makes the difference long term.
