Grading and Site Prep for Pine Holler Florida Farm

Pine Holler Florida Farm is the kind of place that brings people together - festivals, families, good food, and a real sense of community. When they needed a large open area graded and leveled for festival parking, we were glad to be the crew they called.

Here's what we were working with: a wide, open field that needed dirt brought in, spread evenly, and leveled out across the whole surface. Uneven ground and soft spots might not seem like a big deal until you've got hundreds of people walking across it with kids in tow. For a high-traffic event space, a smooth, stable surface matters. It's a safety thing as much as anything else.

We used our Kubota SVL75-2 track loader to push, spread, and grade the dirt across the entire area. Track loaders are the right tool for this kind of work - they handle soft, loose soil without sinking or tearing up ground that's already been worked. Pass by pass, we knocked down the high spots and filled in the low ones until the surface was consistent and flat.

This is the kind of site prep work that quietly does its job. Nobody at a festival is going to think about the ground they're walking on - and that's exactly the point. Good grading means no ankle-turning ruts, no standing water pooling in low spots, no complaints. It just works.
